What payment options do I have?
Here in our online shop you can pay for the most common ticket types conveniently and contactlessly by credit card, direct debit or PayPal. You will then receive the ticket by email to print out or show on your smartphone display. Further information about the online ticket can be found in the “Online shop & online tickets” help area.
PayPal:
- A PayPal account is required.
- Please have your PayPal access data ready to complete your order.
- If you click on "PayPal Express Checkout" or on the yellow "PayPal" button in the checkout, you will be redirected to PayPal via a pop-up window. After a successful transaction, the window closes and you are back on the KIELIUS online shop page.
Credit card (Visa, American Express, Mastercard):
- A PayPal account is not required.
- Please have your credit card details ready (credit card number, expiry date, check digit and credit card owner).
- If you click on the dark gray "Debit or credit card" button in the checkout, you will be redirected to our payment processor PayPal via a pop-up window.
SEPA direct debit:
- A PayPal account is not required.
- Please have the following data ready: IBAN, date of birth, address, mobile phone number.
- Please click on the light gray “SEPA direct debit” button in the checkout. You will then be redirected to our payment processor PayPal. In the pop-up window that has opened, the SEPA direct debit option is open by default.
On the bus:
Cash and card payments (EC card, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay) are possible on the KIELIUS bus. If you pay in cash, it would help us a lot if you had the money with you as appropriately as possible.
I didn't take the trip after all. Can I cancel the ticket?
If you bought your ticket from the driver, please send your original, unused ticket, stating the reason for cancellation, your address and your IBAN to the address below. We will refund the price of your ticket less a handling fee of EUR 4.00 per invoice:

If you bought your ticket in the online shop, you only need to send us an e-mail at kielius-shop@deutschebahn.com. Please provide your order number and the e-mail address used for the order so we can clearly identify the ticket and cancel it from the system. The money will be refunded via the same means of payment used for the order (PayPal, credit card or direct debit). You will receive a credit for the ticket price you paid, less a processing fee of EUR 4.00.
Will I receive an invoice for my ticket?
No, you will not receive a separate invoice for your ticket. You have the option of downloading the invoice yourself at any time under "My orders" in the user account. Please use the option "View order", "Invoices" and then "Print all invoices".
